Journeyman Electrician

Located in Canton, TX

Salary: $25-$30/hr DOE

Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join a Local Company in the Canton, TX area.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM

Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in residential, commercial, and industrial environments
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and electrical schematics
• Install and troubleshoot wiring, lighting systems, control panels, motors, and electrical components
• Inspect electrical systems to ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes
• Diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment
• Collaborate with project managers, apprentices, and other trades on job sites
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Uphold strict safety standards and company policies at all times

Requirements: 

• Valid Journeyman Electrician License (required)
• 3+ years of experience in residential, commercial, and/or industrial electrical work
• Strong knowledge of the NEC and local electrical codes
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage tasks
• Experience with conduit bending, panel work, and motor/control wiring
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
