QC Tech Line Inspector

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide Quality support to Manufacturing and Production Lines
• Performs and documents a wide variety of inspections, checks, and sampling procedures during the production process
• Performs line clearance and inspects processing area for removal of all previous product, components, and materials
• Perform standard inspection of First article, first pallet, and random sampling inspection on finished products
• Stop production line/shipment if major non-compliance of specifications, standards or quality is found during the inspection process.
• Inspects and verifies outgoing shipments for accuracy
• Reviews and approves labels for production
• Monitors all aspects of the manufacturing/packaging operations and reports non-conformances to the Supervisor or Manager
• Performs line checks and AQLs as required by batch record and on the job training.
• Reviews Batch documentation to assure accuracy and completeness
• Follow-up inspection of non-complying product that has been re-worked and corrected. Complete deviation forms as required.
• Maintain QC inspection reports and daily summary logs as required.
• Educate line personnel on quality issues and objectives in support of Production and Operations leadership
• Maintain logs of Release.
