Dye House Operator

1st Shift - Monday-Thursday: 6:00am- 4:30pm - $18/hr

 

Job Duties:

• Responsible for the drying of the knit material
• Verify dye tickets match
• Extracts fabric with centrifuge or pad extractors. Dries fabric in tumble dryer or conveyor dryer
• Keep dye house neat and clean
• Measure fabric before and after extraction and record
• Weigh finishing chemicals as needed (training provided

Physical Requirements: 

• Lift 35-50lb frequently, twisting, bending
• Occasional pull cans weighing 70-90lb across floor (team pull)
• Able to see fabric clearly
• Distinguish colors clearly
• Constant standing, walking, reaching and pulling
