Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced MIG Aluminum Welder to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MIG welding, specifically with aluminum materials, and a keen eye for detail to ensure precision and quality in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on aluminum materials to produce high-quality welds that meet company standards and specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.
• Set up welding machines and select appropriate settings for various aluminum welding tasks.
• Prepare and align aluminum parts and components before welding.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of welding equipment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on time.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in welding technology or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a MIG Welder, specifically with aluminum materials.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong understanding of welding techniques, equipment, and safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Physical stamina and strength to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Additional certifications in welding or metal fabrication.
• Familiarity with other welding processes (e.g., TIG and aluminum welding).
