Payroll Accountant Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and on schedule
• Maintain payroll records, employee data, and payroll reporting
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Complete bank reconciliations and maintain financial accuracy
• Assist with bookkeeping and general accounting duties
• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting
• Ensure accurate financial documentation and recordkeeping

Payroll Accountant Qualifications

• Previous payroll, bookkeeping, or accounting experience required
• Knowledge of payroll processing, payroll reporting, and accounting procedures
• Experience with accounting software and bookkeeping systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks and deadlines
