Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 4:00pm

Pay: $25.00/HR

Duties:

  • Locate materials in the yard by identifying and gathering the correct construction products according to delivery tickets and job‑site requirements.
  • Load materials into the truck using a boom lift and forklift while ensuring proper placement, securement, and adherence to all safety procedures.
  • Deliver materials to job sites by transporting loads safely and unloading them accurately in designated areas.
  • Operate forklifts, boom lifts, and yard equipment to support loading, unloading, staging, and material movement throughout the shift.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks including frequent lifting, bending, twisting, and carrying of construction materials.
  • Remain seated in the truck cab for extended periods of 10–12 hours while maintaining alertness and safe operating practices.
  • Follow all DOT, company, and job‑site safety rules including PPE requirements, safe‑work procedures, and proper documentation.
  • Support non‑driving duties during the 90‑day express period by performing yard work, loading, staging, and material‑handling tasks with no driving responsibilities.
  • Maintain clean and organized equipment by keeping trucks, forklifts, and work areas in safe operating condition and reporting issues promptly.
  • Assist with additional yard or delivery‑related tasks as assigned to support team operations, workflow, and delivery goals.

Qualifications: 

  • Hold a valid CDL Class B license with a clean and safe driving history.
  • Have experience operating forklifts and boom lifts or be willing to learn under supervision.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lift, carry, bend, twist, and maneuver materials frequently throughout the shift.
  • Show physical endurance with the ability to perform repetitive physical tasks and sit for long periods in the truck.
  • Maintain strong safety awareness and consistently follow all equipment, yard, and job‑site safety procedures.
  • Communicate clearly with dispatch, yard staff, and job‑site personnel to coordinate workflow and resolve issues.
  • Demonstrate reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Show willingness to assist across multiple tasks including yard work, loading, staging, and general material handling.
