An established aviation service company in Bridgeport, WV is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Inventory / WIP Engine Scanner to join its team.

In this role, you will use SAP to scan, tag, track, and transfer aircraft engine parts throughout the inventory process. The position combines inventory management, warehouse operations, material handling, SAP data entry, shipping, receiving, and physical inventory responsibilities.

Inventory / WIP Engine Scanner Responsibilities:

• Receive aircraft engine parts into the warehouse and scan inventory into SAP.
• Organize engine parts onto carts and properly store materials in designated warehouse locations.
• Process inventory requests by scanning parts and updating location information in SAP.
• Accurately track and transfer engine parts between facilities.
• Pack requested parts into appropriate shipping containers to help prevent damage during transportation.
• Prepare parts and materials for shipment.
• Move containers using dollies and pallet jacks.
• Assist with loading and unloading box trucks as needed.
• Conduct accurate physical inventory counts.
• Maintain organized inventory and warehouse areas.
• Verify parts and inventory information for accuracy.
• Follow established procedures for handling and tracking aviation engine components.

Inventory / WIP Engine Scanner Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Previous inventory management or inventory control experience preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• ERP system experience is preferred.
• Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, material handling, or parts experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
