Salary: $21.00 - $25.00/HR BOE

We have an opening for a CDL-B Delivery Driver position working at a pre-cut natural and manufactured stone supplier located in Athens, AL. This is an evaluation-to-hire opportunity with potential for full-time placement.

 

Skills/Qualifications

Must have a valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.

Must have a command of the English language and use proper grammar.

Must have good communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work outdoors regardless of weather conditions.

Must be capable of working an entire work week on a consistent basis.

Punctuality and dependability.

 

Duties/Responsibilities

Safely deliver bulk stone products to residential and commercial customers.

Safely operate a flatbed truck equipped with a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett).

Load and unload materials efficiently and safely.

Strap down loads and verify materials are securely fastened prior to delivery. No tarping required.

Perform routine vehicle inspections and take care of assigned equipment.

Provide professional, courteous customer service at delivery sites.

Help assist production workers in shop on slow delivery days, including the yard (outdoors).
