Position: Waste Control / Yard Laborer

Location: Sarona, WI
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Position Type: Seasonal | Temporary | Part-Time | Casual Call
No weekends required

Looking for an active, outdoor position where you can work independently and stay moving throughout the day? Express Employment is seeking motivated individuals to assist with waste control and fencing support duties in the Rice Lake area.

This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying physically active, and taking pride in keeping work areas clean and organized.

This position is currently temporary to help resolve a backlog of work but could extend longer to assist with fencing projects.

What You’ll Do

• Walk fence lines and surrounding areas to collect trash and debris

• Use a grabber stick to pick up litter and place materials into trash bags

• Help maintain clean and organized outdoor work areas

• Assist general laborers with installing and securing fencing

• Help place fence stakes and tighten fencing materials as needed

• Push and pull carts weighing approximately 20 lbs

• Work outdoors in varying weather and wet/damp conditions

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to work independently and stay task-focused

• Comfortable working outdoors for the entire shift

• Ability to walk long distances throughout the day

• Ability to stand for extended periods

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs consistently throughout the shift

• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic

• Flexibility with changing weather conditions

Work Environment

This position is entirely outdoors and may involve wet, muddy, or damp working conditions. Employees will use grabber sticks, trash bags, carts, and other basic tools to complete daily tasks.
