Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright. Millwrights are responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting machinery and equipment. An expertise in mechanical systems and attention to detail will contribute to ensuring the smooth operation of the production processes.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Install, assemble, and set up machinery and equipment according to specifications and safety guidelines.

·         Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of machinery to identify and address potential issues.

·         Perform repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.

·         Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions, using various tools and diagnostic methods.

·         Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to prioritize and complete work orders within specified timelines.

·         Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, work performed, and equipment condition.

·         Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

·         Assist in managing inventory of spare parts and supplies, and place orders as needed.

·         Provide technical guidance and support to other maintenance team members as required.

·         Stay updated on industry trends, advancements in machinery, and evolving maintenance practices.

 

Requirements:

 

·         High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications or education in millwrighting, mechanical maintenance, or a related field is preferred.

·         Proven experience as a Millwright, with a strong background in mechanical maintenance and repair.

·         Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.

·         Knowledge of mechanical systems, including bearings, gears, belts, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

·         Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.

·         Ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.

·         Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to equipment maintenance and repair.

·         Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision and accuracy.

·         Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that may involve lifting heavy objects, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

·         Flexibility to work the night shift, including weekends and holidays, as required.
