Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled and experienced Sheet Metal Welder to join our clients team in Victoria, Tx.  The ideal candidate will be proficient in MIG welding on sheet metal, particularly high Carbon Steel. The candidate should possess a strong understanding of blueprints, as well as hands-on experience with measuring devices such as Calipers and Micrometers for inside, outside, and depth measurements.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on sheet metal, with a focus on high Carbon Steel.
• Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure accurate and precise welding.
• Utilize Calipers and Micrometers for measuring inside, outside, and depth dimensions.
• Ensure the quality and integrity of welds meet specified standards.
• Ability to kneel, bend over, and stand for extended periods of time.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience in MIG welding on sheet metal, especially high Carbon Steel.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
• Experience with Calipers and Micrometers for precise measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to kneel, bend over, and stand for long periods of time.
