Machine Operator – Double Shuttle Machine

• Take over machine operations from the previous operator and ensure a smooth transition.

• Operate the machine in accordance with established standards and procedures.

• Trim parts to meet specified standards and quality requirements.

• Ensure parts are stacked in boxes correctly and efficiently.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area, including any secondary machinery.

• Accurately document production data and downtime, including operator logs and production charts.

• Notify supervisors if the machine is malfunctioning, producing excessive scrap, or deviating from set standards.

• Participate in all scheduled training programs and skill development sessions.

• Perform attribute studies as needed to ensure quality and consistency.

• Adhere to all workplace and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment.

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for the job.

• Operate secondary machinery as required.

• Communicate with Quality Assurance (QA) when part quality issues or reviews are needed.

• Meet production goals, including quality standards, throughput, and operational efficiency.

• Collaborate effectively with co-workers and foster a team-oriented work environment.

• Provide suggestions for improvements in operator procedures and processes.
