$16/HR starting pay (overtime pay after 40 hours)

-A concrete laborer is responsible for preparing, pouring, and finishing concrete surfaces for various construction projects, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

-Site Preparation: Setup and prepare construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up forms for concrete pouring.

-Mixing and Pouring: Mix concrete according to specs and pour into forms to create structures such as sidewalks, driveways, and foundations. 

-Finishing Work: Use tools to spread, smooth, and finish the concrete surface, ensuring it meets projects specs.

-Maintenance of Equipment: Maintain and clean tools and equipment used in the concrete pouring process. 

Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment, including wearing appropriate safety gear.

Skills and Qualifications:

-Physical Stamina: Ability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various weather conditions.

-Attention to Detail: Ensure that concrete is mixed and poured correctly to meet quality standards.

-Basic Math Skills: Ability to measure accurately and read blueprints or specs.

Work Environment:

-Concrete laborers typically work outdoors on construction sites, which may involve exposure to varying weather conditions. 

-The role requires physical labor and the ability to work as part of a team under the direction of a site foreman or construction manager.
