CNC Machinist- 2nd shift

Located in Birmingham, AL

Salary: $25-35

We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team on 2nd shift! 

Duties:

• A systematic, patient pace with the emphasis on creative imaginative thought in order to get the job done right
• The job provides stable, consistent methods, processes and procedures
• Technical, intellectual focus
• Great deal of attention devoted to developing a creative solution to problems and decisions
• Offers the chance to develop expertise and a full understanding of the job to be done
• The quality and correctness of decisions is more important than the speed with which decisions are made
• Considerable opportunity to work alone, with no outside pressure
• Most work is custom “job shop” with an occasional run of very small quantity.
• Creating and editing programs at the controls is preferred! Applicants must have a good supply of their own tools.
• Machinist would be responsible for machining materials to customer’s specifications with a provided program.
• We require all applicants to take a Machinist Aptitude and Math test. Programming experience in solid models is a plus but not required.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work M-Th 10 hour shifts.  Shift starts at 2:00pm
