Rate of Pay is $21.60
Shift 6AM to 2:30 PM onsite 5 days

Position overview
The Assembly Technician will support the engineer and design team with design, test, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electro-mechanical systems. Strong problem solving and technical skills, adaptability, and a willingness to work in a collaborative team environment are skills that will support a high level of success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment.
• May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines

Skills and Experience

• 2 years of Manufacturing Assembly experience required, preferably in a more technical environment.
• High school diploma with a minimum of three years of experience in a related field. Vocational training preferred.
• Computer literate in PC based software and diagnostic equipment. (i.e., Terminal emulation software, Windows operating systems, etc.)
• Requires reading; math; weighing and/or measuring; conducting research; analyzing and drawing conclusions; developing and implementing plans, procedures, solutions
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that could require lifting up to 50 pounds approximately 30 to 40 times a day and standing/walking 6 to 8 hours a day.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
