Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide a welcoming checkout experience
• Process sales transactions accurately using cash register or POS system
• Handle cash, credit, and debit payments
• Issue receipts, refunds, and exchanges when necessary
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Assist customers with questions about products or services
• Follow company policies and procedures for cash handling and security
• Support team members and help with other tasks as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus (but not required)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle cash transactions responsibly
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift light merchandise as needed
