Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Shop Coordinator to oversee daily shop operations, provide quotes and estimates, and assist with auto glass installation and replacement. This role combines office responsibilities, customer service, and hands-on shop work.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and greet walk-in customers
• Provide accurate quotes and estimates for auto glass services
• Create work orders and order materials needed to complete jobs
• Build and maintain relationships with local auto body shops to increase business
• Install and replace windshields, back glass, side glass, and mirrors on personal and commercial vehicles
• Receive and check in UPS and FedEx deliveries
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
• Complete and submit weekly reports to management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
• Basic typing and data entry skills
• Strong math skills for preparing accurate quotes
• Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16" and 1/32"
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Automotive, glass installation, or body shop experience preferred
