Summary: We are seeking a skilled Standup Forklift/Reach Truck Operator, and Cherry Picker Operator to partner with a leading manufacturer and distributor of cosmetics. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to support their warehouse operations during the day shift.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safe Operation: Safely operate standup forklifts, reach trucks, and cherry pickers in compliance with company and OSHA safety standards.
2. Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport cosmetics products and materials throughout the warehouse.
3. Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counting and inventory audits as needed.
4. Order Picking: Efficiently pick and stage orders for distribution, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
5. Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage and quality, reporting any issues to the supervisor.
6. Maintenance: Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance tasks, such as battery charging and refueling, to ensure equipment reliability.
7. Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, including sweeping, stacking pallets, and disposing of waste properly.
8. Communication: Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
9. Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating standup reach, cherry pickers in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Valid forklift certification
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and OSHA regulations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity goals.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
