Accountant

An organization in Ypsilanti is seeking an Accountant. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented finance professional with a bachelor's degree, CPA certification, Sage50 proficiency, experienced in general ledger, accounts payable, month-end close, and grant budgeting for client’s programs.

What you’ll be doing as the Accountant

• Proficiently prepare and reconcile general ledger entries, maintaining organized records.
•  Support month-end close activities and accruals efficiently.
• Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes with a focus on accuracy and thorough review.
• Utilize Sage50 software for seamless reconciliations and timely monthly/quarterly reports.
• Provide valuable grant and budgeting support for internal programs.

What we look for in a Accountant

• 2 years in Accounting
• 2 years Accounting software knowledge
• Associates Degree or equivalent.

Additional information for the Accountant position

• $50,000- $60,000 annually
• Monday-Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
• Ypsilanti, 48197
