Shipping & Receiving / Mechanical Helper – Entry Level

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Range: $18.00/hr – $23.00/hr
Location: Rock Hill, SC

Summary

This position supports Shipping & Receiving, Packaging, Material Handling, and Mechanical Assembly. Ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, staying busy, and learning new skills in a warehouse and production environment. Mechanical assembly experience is preferred and earns a higher pay range.

You will work closely with warehouse staff, assemblers, and leadership to keep daily workflow running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving / Warehouse

• Assist with inbound and outbound shipments
• Load and unload trucks
• Package finished products
• Use sit‑down forklift, pallet jack, and overhead crane (training provided if needed)
• General warehouse upkeep and organization
• Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs

Mechanical Assembly Support

• Assist mechanical assemblers with hands‑on tasks
• Help build and disassemble machine components
• Clean and maintain tools and workstations
• Use basic hand and power tools (trainable)

General Duties

• Communicate with vendors as needed
• Light data entry (workstation updates, receiving logs, simple system entries)
• Assist multiple departments based on workflow
• Support Rhett and the assembly/warehouse teams as needed

• Previous mechanical assembly experience
