A growing Manufacturing company in Seabrook, NH is looking to add a few machinists/calibrators to their team!

 

Job Summary:
Calibration and inspection of tools, gauges and fixtures

Key Responsibilities:

Disassemble, clean and re-assemble tools, gauges or fixtures using various hand tools if necessary.
Check and identify critical dimensions and validate to blueprints.
Identify damaged areas for review and or repair.
Measure and record actual dimensions.
Responsible for confirming tools are complete.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Employee needs to have a strong background in blueprint reading and all types of measuring instruments for precise readings. Microsoft Suite Software: Word, Excel, Outlook

Physical Requirements:

Employee must be able to lift 15-20 lbs alone, safely. Able to move gages and tools from the manufacturing floor to Quality Control Department, via hand carry, or using lifting carts, material push carts, overhead hoists, utilizing assistance from co-workers if necessary. Must be able to reach, bend and walk. Should be able to stand and or sit for the workday to do the specific job.
