Job Title: Quality Inspector – Water Meter Production
Location: Mansfield, TX 
Hourly Rate: $16-17/hour
Schedule:  Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (40-hour workweek)  
Overtime as needed, typically 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM  
Some Saturdays required, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Job Overview: The Quality Inspector will be responsible for inspecting water meters during various stages of production—assembling and testing—to ensure products meet industry standards, specifications, and customer expectations. This role involves visual, dimensional, and functional inspections, documentation, and collaboration with the production team to maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities: 
Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of water meters at raw material, in-process, and finished stages.  
Identify defects, non-conformities, or deviations in components or assemblies; document inspection findings.  
Monitor production processes to prevent quality issues.  
Record inspection results and defect logs accurately in Excel.  
Follow workplace safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized inspection area.  
Provide feedback to supervisors regarding recurring issues or process inefficiencies.

Requirements:  
1 year experience in quality inspection preferred.  
Basic understanding of quality control.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in defect identification.  
Effective communication skills to report findings and collaborate with production teams.  
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:  
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.  
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with moderate noise, dust, or temperature variations.  
Manual dexterity to handle small components and tools.

Computer Skills: 
Basic for documentation purposes.
