Maintenance Technician (Day & Swing Shifts)

Location: Woodland, CA – Local Water Pump Company
Shifts Available:

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

• Swing Shift: 2:00 PM – 1:30 AM

• Pay Range: $25.00 – $32.00/hour (DOE)

Woodland Express is recruiting an experienced and reliable Maintenance Technician for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity with a well-established water pump company in Woodland, CA.

Position Summary:

Under limited supervision, the Maintenance Technician will perform repairs and preventative maintenance on production equipment and facility systems including welding, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair machinery, mechanical systems, and equipment

• Complete scheduled preventative maintenance

• Perform facility repairs (plumbing, carpentry, HVAC)

• Conduct overhead crane inspections and rigging

• Maintenance welding and fabrication

• Diagnose and repair low voltage, single-phase and three-phase systems (120V–480V)

• Work with pneumatics, hydraulics, VFDs, and PLCs

• Keep accurate maintenance logs and complete safety checks

• Follow proper LOTO procedures and ensure a safe work environment

Requirements:

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience

• Knowledge of machinery, HVAC, electrical, and welding

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

• Comfortable with physical labor (lifting, climbing, standing, etc.)

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• Must be available for weekend or holiday call-ins if needed

• Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
