Field Service Technician

Full time – Temp to hire.

Monday thru Friday – 6am to 2:30pm

$20 to $23hr depending on experience.

 

Busy manufacturer and leading provider of innovative products and solutions to the automotive industry is looking for an Equipment Repair Technician to join their team in Pacoima.

 

Summary: The Equipment Repair Technician will perform troubleshooting, and repairs to automotive equipment. Technical aptitude and people skills are a must. This is a hands-on position requiring ability to identify and correct mechanical issues.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains the highest level of customer satisfaction by resolving all possible automotive equipment issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, troubleshoots, and repair automotive equipment.
• Drive company vehicle to customer locations for machine repairs as needed.
• Escalates all problems and issues to management when necessary.
• Produce timely and detailed service reports.
• Follow company’s field procedures and protocols.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Automotive Experience is a plus.
• Must be mechanically inclined. Familiar with hand tools.
• Must have 12V DC experience.
• Ability to work with little supervision.
• Proven customer service skills are a must.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction in English.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Driver’s license and clean driving record required.
