Location: Springfield, OH
Schedule: 2nd Shift | Mon-Thurs: 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM | OT Fridays as needed
Pay Rate: $18.25/hour

Immediate opening for a Machinist Trainee on 2nd shift! Learn skilled machining operations with comprehensive training on Acme machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Acme machines with intricate tooling
• Read and interpret blueprints and process documents
• Regrind special recess tools and carbide tooling
• Diagnose and correct machine problems
• Make programming and job improvements
• Maintain production rates per process instructions
• Perform routine machine maintenance
• Maintain clean and organized work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong math skills (fractions, decimals, ratios, percentages)
• Prior manufacturing experience helpful but not required
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to stand 6-12 hours per day
• Lift up to 40 pounds frequently
• Must provide own transportation
