Utilities Mechanic – Water, Sewer and Gas Repairs

Located in beaverton, OR

In this position, you will perform skilled work in the repair and maintenance of municipal water, sewer, and gas systems. This position requires technical knowledge, physical stamina, and the ability to work safely in field conditions. Candidates should be comfortable diagnosing underground utility issues and using specialized repair equipment.

Job Duties

• Repair and maintain water, sewer, and gas pipelines.
• Locate underground utilities and assess repair needs.
• Operate excavation and trenching equipment safely.
• Install valves, pipe sections, meters, and related components.
• Perform emergency repairs during service outages or leaks.
• Conduct pressure tests and system inspections.
• Maintain detailed service logs and repair documentation.
• Follow all OSHA and utility safety protocols.
