A leading producer of high-quality surimi seafood products, serving customers worldwide has partnered with Express Employment Professionals of Mount Vernon. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Maintenance Technician to join their team!

As a Machine Maintenance Technician your role is very crucial in ensuring the continuous operation and maintenance of production equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of machines and systems to maximize production efficiency and minimize downtime.

What you get to do:

• Troubleshoot & repair machinery utilized in a food product manufacturing plant.
• Conduct routine inspections and repairs of machinery and premises.
• Disassemble and reassemble machinery for inspection or to replace defective parts.
• Maintain and service gear boxes, chains, motors and pumps.
• Assist with machine rebuilds and revisions.
• Perform Periodic Maintenance to machinery.
• Read and understand Electrical Diagrams, Operating Manuals & Specifications.
• Interpret mechanical/electrical schematics.
• Alert Supervisors and Managers of safety or mechanical issues.
• Maintain work area and engineering shop in a professional and safe manner.

What you need to be successful:

• Two years’ Maintenance Technician experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Able to work independently. 
• Able to interpret mechanical/electrical schematics.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 (DOE)
