Process Engineering Assistant – Plano, TX (Government Contractor)

Location: Plano, Texas Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:45 AM – 4:30 PM Pay: $21–$23 per hour (based on experience) Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire / Full-Time

A growing government contractor in Plano, TX is seeking a Process Engineering Assistant to support the manufacturing of printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role is ideal for candidates with mechanical aptitude and experience in sustaining, manufacturing, or process technician roles who want to grow their career in electronics manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on designated production machines.

• Complete documentation, including travelers and ESD logs.

• Conduct repair and maintenance to ensure smooth production flow.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing, sustaining, or process technician role.

• Strong knowledge of industry-specific machines and mechanical processes.

• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
