CDL-B Delivery Driver

 

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable CDL-B Delivery Driver to support local and regional delivery operations. This position is responsible for safely operating delivery vehicles, transporting materials, and providing reliable service to customers.

The ideal candidate is responsible, safety-focused, and comfortable performing both driving and physical material-handling tasks throughout the workday.

Responsibilities

Delivery & Transportation

• Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials to local and regional locations.
• Complete deliveries while following company and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.
• Provide professional and courteous service during deliveries.

Loading & Material Handling

• Load and unload materials from delivery vehicles.
• Secure loads properly for transportation.
• Handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout the day.
• Assist with organizing and staging materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.

Safety & Team Support

• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any concerns.
• Follow all transportation and workplace safety guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Assist with additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-B license required.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Previous delivery, transportation, construction, or material-handling experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift and move materials throughout the workday.
• Strong dependability and attendance.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Professional communication skills and a positive attitude.

Schedule

Job Type: Full-Time
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
