CNC Entry level Operator

Express Employment Professionals – St. Paul, MN is currently assisting a steel fabrication company in filling a CNC Operator position located in the St. Paul area.   Apply now if you meet the qualifications listed below! 

Work Schedule:   Monday - Thursday   4:30pm to 3:00am

Pay: $22-$23 per hour (will start as a helper at the lower rate)

This is full time opportunity!

Responsibilities include:

• Review fabrication schedules and work orders
• Set controls to create desired bend or angle
• Activate benders with hand control
• Inspect bars for quality; touch up ends of bars with paint
• Complete paperwork; tags or labels each order; daily production records
• Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment
• Assemble cardboard shipping boxes on pallets
• Operate overhead crane, forklift, or other equipment once trained
• Package and band boxes of bent bars when needed

Qualifications: 

• Mathematical skills (ability to measure and read angles)
• Punctual and dependable
• Willing to learn (training provided)
• Forklift certified or experience preferred
• Machine operating experience preferred
• Overhead crane experience preferred
