We are seeking skilled and reliable Facilities Maintenance Technicians to support the upkeep and functionality of our building systems and infrastructure. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring a safe, clean, and operational environment for occupants and visitors. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to high standards of service and safety.

Key Responsibilities

General Maintenance & Repairs

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair building components, including lighting, doors, locks, and fixtures
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders
  • Assist with minor carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs

Facility Upkeep

  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of common areas, restrooms, and exterior grounds
  • Monitor building systems and report any malfunctions or safety hazards
  • Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal, landscaping, and pest control
  • Ensure compliance with safety codes, fire regulations, and building standards

Documentation & Communication

  • Accurately log maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs
  • Communicate effectively with property management, vendors, and tenants
  • Assist with vendor coordination and supervise contractors as needed
  • Follow company protocols and safety procedures at all times

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in building or facilities maintenance
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in various conditions
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Availability for on-call rotation and emergency response

Preferred Qualifications

  • Trade certification in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or building maintenance
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) is a plus
