We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Paralegal to support our legal team in delivering efficient and high-quality legal services. The Paralegal will assist attorneys in case preparation, legal research, document drafting, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, excellent written communication, and a thorough understanding of legal procedures and terminology.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, affidavits, and discovery materials
  • Organize and maintain case files, correspondence, and legal records
  • Assist attorneys in trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, and timelines
  • File legal documents with courts and government agencies (electronically and in person)
  • Manage deadlines and ensure timely submission of filings and responses
  • Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and provide updates
  • Summarize depositions, interrogatories, and other legal documents
  • Review and analyze contracts, agreements, and other legal materials
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and firm policies

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate degree or certificate in paralegal studies; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a legal setting
  • Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation
  • Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., LexisNexis, Westlaw) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Familiarity with court systems and filing procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Paralegal certification from an accredited organization (e.g., NALA, NFPA)
  • Experience in a specific legal area such as litigation, corporate law, family law, or real estate
  • Familiarity with case management software (e.g., Clio, MyCase, TrialWorks)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish or other languages) is a plus
