Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to join our team. As a Groundskeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of our community's outdoor spaces and common areas. Your attention to detail and commitment to creating a welcoming environment for our residents will contribute to the overall satisfaction and comfort of our community.

JOB DUTIES:

May include but not limited to the following:

• Perform daily inspections of outdoor areas, including walkways, parking lots, lawns, gardens, and other common spaces, to identify and address cleanliness and maintenance needs.
• Collect and dispose of trash, litter, and debris from common areas and outdoor spaces on a regular basis.
• Sweep, rake, and maintain the cleanliness of sidewalks, pathways, and other high-traffic areas to ensure a safe and tidy environment.
• Monitor and report any safety hazards, damaged fixtures, or landscaping issues to the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
• Assist with seasonal landscaping tasks such as planting, pruning, watering, and maintaining flowerbeds to enhance the visual appeal of the property.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure proper disposal of waste and adherence to recycling programs.
• Maintain outdoor furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure they are clean, functional, and in good condition.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to residents by promptly addressing inquiries and requests related to outdoor spaces.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining clean and inviting outdoor spaces.
• Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, bend, stoop, and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
• Effective communication skills and a positive attitude when interacting with residents and team members.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently while adhering to established schedules and priorities.

Hours/Shift:
Part Time Monday through Friday 9am to 1pm

Pay:
$18.00 per hour
