We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Workers to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing, serving, and delivering food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the work environment, and providing exceptional customer service. This role is essential in ensuring that guests, customers, or clients have a positive dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Food Preparation:

   • Assist in preparing simple dishes, assembling meals, and portioning ingredients according to recipes and instructions.
   • Ensure food is presented attractively and meets safety and quality standards.

2. Service and Customer Interaction:

   • Greet customers warmly and respond promptly to their inquiries and requests.
   • Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
   • Operate point-of-sale systems for food orders, including processing payments when necessary.

3. Sanitation and Cleanliness:

   • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including food preparation areas, serving stations, and dining areas.
   • Wash dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment as required.
   • Follow health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and hygiene practices.

4. Stocking and Inventory:

   • Replenish supplies and ingredients as needed, ensuring stations are stocked and ready for service.
   • Assist with receiving and storing deliveries according to inventory management protocols.

5. Team Collaboration:

   • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, servers, and management to meet service goals.
   • Communicate effectively about tasks, customer needs, or issues that arise during shifts.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a related field (preferred but not required).
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and willingness to obtain a food handler’s certificate if not already certified.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.

Work Environment:

• Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required.
• Exposure to hot kitchen equipment, varying temperatures, and potential allergens.
