Human Resource Generalist

A global manufacturing company located in Manchester, MI, is looking for a Human Resource Generalist. This is a DIRECT HIRE position where the ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment.

What you’ll be doing as a Human Resource Generalist

• Lead recruitment, interview processes, and candidate selection for all hourly positions, leveraging hiring data to improve retention.

• Facilitate the Orientation Model to seamlessly integrate temporary and full-time employees.

• Serve as the primary liaison with third-party staffing agencies to manage temporary workforce needs and vendor relationships.

• Advise departmental managers on personnel policies and ensure hiring practices align with employment laws.

What you’ll need to succeed as a Human Resource Generalist

• 2+ years’ experience in Human Resources; experience in manufacturing industry an asset
• Strong knowledge of employment laws
• HS diploma preferred

Additional information for the Human Resource Generalist

• $50,000 - $60,000 annually based on experience
• M-F, 8am-5pm flexibility as needed
