Busy custom parts manufacturer in Burbank, suppling the OE automotive marketplace with custom engineered decorative trim such as badging, sill protection, lighting, and functional components, is looking for an experienced production painter to join their team. This company produces custom components for single unit prototype concept cars, limited production special vehicles and have supported long-range high volume production runs. Continuous improvement has allowed us to remain on top in the manufacture and supply of quality products for the automotive, marine, and commercial industries.

 

Summary: In this position you will take finished pieces and put them together for final assembly and packaging.   

 

Responsibilities:

• Assembly of assigned product parts on assembly line in accordance with production guidelines.
• Perform inspection checks of product to ensure adherence to approved quality standards.
• Notify Manager/Supervisor of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
• Adhere to established company policies and procedures paying special attention to safety regulations.
• Wear personal protective equipment in accordance with training guidelines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

 

Skills:

• Oral communication skills, primary English, Spanish helpful.
• Written Communication skills.
• Physical Dexterity (example – be able to move hands).
• Sold math aptitude.
• Time Management.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
