Machine Operator – 2nd Shift | Manufacturing

Location: West Haven, CT
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–12:00 Midnight
Pay: $18.50/hour starting rate; higher pay may be available for candidates with 5+ years of consistent machine operating experience.

We are hiring Machine Operators / Production Machine Operators for an established manufacturing company in West Haven, CT, specializing in carbon-based water filtration products.

This is a hands-on manufacturing position involving the setup, operation and monitoring of production machinery used to manufacture water filtration components.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate and monitor manufacturing and production equipment

• Load raw materials and components into machines

• Adjust machine settings and perform basic machine changeovers

• Monitor production runs to ensure quality and efficiency

• Inspect finished products for defects and quality standards

• Perform basic troubleshooting and report equipment issues

• Maintain accurate production records and documentation

• Keep machines and work areas clean, organized and safe

• Follow established manufacturing procedures and safety guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous Machine Operator or Production Machine Operator experience required

• Experience operating manufacturing machinery or automated production equipment preferred

• Mechanically inclined with basic troubleshooting skills

• Ability to follow production instructions and quality standards

• Comfortable using basic measuring and inspection tools

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform hands-on production work

• Dependable, reliable and able to work well with a team

Candidates with 5 or more years of consistent machine operating experience may qualify for a higher starting pay rate.
