Welder - 1st Shift

Salary: $20.00

Job Duties: 

• Perform MIG/Wire welding 
• Weld parts in vertical positions and execute fast, downward-motion welds
• Clamp, hold, tack, grind and position components to meet productions specs 
• Select and install torch torches, tips, and wire based on material thickness 
• Ignite torches, strike arcs, and complete welds per job requirements 
• Adjust gas flow and pressure to achieve proper flame and weld quality 
• Follow blueprints, charts, and internal safety standards

Requirements: 

• Minimum 2 years recent welding experience 
• Experience with setting up welding equipment and consumables 
• Proficient in MIG welding 
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and spec sheets 
• Strong hand control, heat management, and weld placement accuracy
• Skilled in prep work - clamping, tacking, and positioning 
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds routinely 
• Comfortable standing, bending, and reaching for extended periods
• Ability to work in heat, spark, and high noise environments
• Strong manual dexterity and visual accuracy 

Work Schedule: 6am to 2:30pm Monday - Friday w/ OT as needed
