he Grave Sanitation Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and respectful environment in cemetery grounds. This role ensures that gravesites, pathways, and common areas are properly cleaned, maintained, and prepared for services. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Job Duties

• Clean and maintain gravesites, including removing debris, trimming grass, and general upkeep
• Prepare gravesites for burials and memorial services
• Operate hand tools, mowers, and small equipment safely
• Maintain pathways, landscaping, and common areas to ensure a clean and presentable environment
• Follow all safety protocols and wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Assist with setting up tents, chairs, or other equipment for services as needed
• Report maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
• Support team members with general groundskeeping and sanitation tasks
• Ensure compliance with cemetery policies and local regulations
