Currently, we have an immediate need for a Full-Time Bookkeeper to handle our client's daily accounting functions and office management.

 

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm 

Pay: $25.00

Location: Milwaukie 

 

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Match vendor invoices to POs
  • Code, post, and pay vendor invoices out of our new accounting software system
  • Post and send out customer invoices
  • Collect, post and deposit miscellaneous and customer payments for sales orders and invoices
  • Maintain A/P and A/R Aging reports, ensuring vendors are paid on time and collecting on past due accounts
  • Process terms requests
  • Post purchases made by our Purchasing department
  • Upload credit card transactions into ExpensePoint, and post to accounting system each month
  • Monitor A/R and A/P group email accounts, responding to all incoming correspondence
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors, clients, and distributors
  • Assist Senior Accountant with month end account reconciliations and journal entries

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of accounting experience, or accounting degree
  • Experience with Business Central highly desired
  • PO experience helpful
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, with ability to perform vLookups and create pivot tables
  • Strong computer skills
  • Good organization skills
  • Team player with a Can-Do attitude, adaptable to change and advances in technology
  • Experience with Teams, or other video chat software – communications with supervisor will be required using video conferencing software
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Quicker learner, resourceful, and able to self-start with minimal guidance
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong analytical/math skills
