Our client in the surrounding Tualatin area is actively seeking a skilled Final Assembly Mechanic to join their team. This is an evaluation of a full-time hire position! 

Duties: 

• Build custom heavy equipment by assembling, installing, and repairing the equipment 
• Working on a forklift, forklift attachments, and other heavy equipment
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the sequence and methods of assembling products
• Installing assemblies in a supportive framework according to blueprints
• Inspecting assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• 2+ years’ experience in heavy equipment mechanic and assembly work; priority is given to those who have built heavy equipment from the ground up
• REQUIRED to be able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and product specifications
• Setting up and operating fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, and routers to cut, bend, block, form, or straighten materials
• Experience with Hydraulic and/or Electrical automotive or heavy equipment builds
• Experience installing assemblies in a supportive framework according to blueprints.
• Inspect final assemblies to ensure proper conformance and specifications
• Ability to work across multiple product lines as needed
• Ability to rig loads with jib cranes, chains, ropes, and overhead cranes
• Lift, push, pull up to 50lbs 
• MUST HAVE own set of commonly used tools

Pay: $24 - $28/hr. per DOE

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00am to 2:30 pm
