Salary: $22 - $28/hr. DOE

A client of ours in Sherwood is looking to add a Final Mechanical Assembler to their team. This position is perfect for a mechanically inclined individual who is looking for a position that provides variety every day and the ability to strengthen your current skills!

This is an evaluation to a full-time hire position

Duties: 

• Assembling, installing, and repairing equipment and products used in the lumber industry
• Working on a forklift, forklift attachments, and other heavy equipment
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the sequence and methods of assembling products
• Installing assemblies in a supportive framework according to blueprints
• Inspecting assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs):

• 1-2 years experience in mechanic/assembly work
• Setting up, and operating fabricating machines such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, and routers to cut, bend, block, form, or straighten materials
• Ability to shape metal material over the anvil, block, or other forms
• Lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay: $22 - $28/hr. per DOE

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
