Salary: $20.00 - $25.00/Hour

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/Hour

Duties: 

  • Estimate costs associated with specific customer requests and project requirements
  • Calculate pricing based on company pricing structures, materials, labor, and overhead
  • Analyze customer drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine materials and production methods
  • Interpret technical drawings and communicate requirements to production, management, and customers
  • Obtain quotes from outside vendors and suppliers as needed
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotes using internal quoting tools and systems
  • Process and generate official quotes through ERP/software systems
  • Maintain and update all engineering and estimating data accurately and promptly
  • Provide exceptional customer service with prompt, professional responses to all inquiries
  • Serve as a key point of contact for both existing and potential customers

Qualifications: 

  • Previous estimating or quoting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook
  • Experience with ERP systems (such as E2 Shop Management System) preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong math skills with the ability to calculate materials, labor, and costs accurately
  • High level of computer proficiency and data accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
