Restoration Technician – $20/Hour – Monday–Friday

Pay: $20 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
Additional Hours: Occasional nights and weekends required for emergency restoration calls

Express Employment Professionals is hiring a dependable, hands-on Restoration Technician for a locally owned fire and water restoration company. This is an opportunity to join a team that helps homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, smoke, and mold damage.

If you have experience in construction, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning, or other hands-on work, this could be a great opportunity to put your skills to use.

What You'll Do:

• Assist with water, fire, smoke, and mold damage mitigation and restoration.
• Inspect properties and identify the extent of damage.
• Set up, monitor, and maintain restoration equipment at job sites.
• Perform restoration work, demolition, cleaning, mitigation, and light construction as assigned.
• Load company vehicles with the equipment, supplies, and materials needed for each project.
• Complete daily work orders and technician paperwork accurately.
• Communicate with customers, explain the restoration process, and address their questions.
• Complete assigned projects on time while following safety procedures and quality expectations.

What We're Looking For

• Previous hands-on experience in construction, maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, or a similar field.
• Restoration or professional cleaning experience is a plus.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work in properties affected by water, fire, smoke, or mold damage.
• A self-starter who can adapt to changing job-site needs and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take on physically demanding tasks.

Job Requirements

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and repeatedly bend, push, pull, and perform hands-on tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to work with and around cleaning products and chemicals while following applicable safety procedures.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and background check.
• Flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends for emergency service calls.
