School Bus Driver

Salary: $26+/hr

Are you looking for a rewarding position where you can make a difference in students' lives every day? We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school while helping create a positive and welcoming experience for children of all ages-from preschool through 12th grade.

This position averages 25 hours per week with morning and afternoon routes during the school year. Looking for more hours? Additional opportunities are often available through extracurricular transportation, including sporting events, field trips, and charter trips. During the summer break, there may also be opportunities to work in other departments, such as janitorial, to help maintain full-time employment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students on established morning and afternoon routes
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students while loading, unloading, and riding the bus
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Clean and sanitize the interior of the bus after each route
• Report vehicle concerns or mechanical issues to the bus mechanic
• Assist with identifying and resolving maintenance concerns
• Transport students for extracurricular activities, field trips, athletic events, and charter trips as needed
• Participate in annual required safety training, including CPR, First Aid, and other school-required certifications
• Follow all state, school, and transportation safety regulations
