Warehouse Worker 1st Shift: 

 

This is a great opportunity with a leading HVAC wholesaler in Rockford. Our client is looking for a well-rounded Warehouse Worker to add to there team for a temp-to-hire position. If you are detail oriented and enjoy fast paced environments this position could be for you! Pay will start at $17 per hour. Job Duties: 

• Accurately receive, record, and store incoming shipments
• Process customer returns
• Perform periodic inventory cycle counts and compare to computer system values
• Process documentation including bills of lading, packing lists, parcel manifests
• Pick, pack and process orders for shipping
• Resolve freight discrepancies with trucking companies
• Drive company delivery tuck to transport parts to local customers

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma / GED required OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Clean driving record
• At least 6 months experience in warehouse operations in a wholesale environment
• Forklift experience 
• Experience with computer or barcode driven inventory management systems
• Lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis 
• Able to crouch, kneel, and squat regularly
• Basic computer skills 
• Basic math skills
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
• Position dependent on drug screen and background check
