Job Description - Driver
Job Location - Englewood, FL
Drivers must load and unload heavy packages on a daily basis as well as perform routine maintenance. Drivers are responsible for getting a customer’s signature confirming receipt of delivery and take note of any cash transactions. Report any delays in traffic to dispatcher.Key areas of responsibilities:• Deliver building materials to customers in designated locations as required.• Ability to bend, kneel, push, pull and lift• Inspect truck for defects and safe operating conditions before, during and after each delivery and follow all safety regulations and procedures.• Immediately report any safety issues found during truck inspection• Keep truck clean inside and out• Contact with the dispatcher, assuring the manager knows location at all time.• Operate GPS provided by the company.
