Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our team. This role involves preparing surfaces and applying paint, coatings, or finishes to machinery, equipment, or large structures using a variety of techniques. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of painting tools and safety procedures in an industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, or blasting as needed

• Mix and apply paint or coatings using spray guns, rollers, or brushes

• Follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper application

• Apply protective coatings to prevent rust or corrosion

• Inspect finished work for quality and touch up as necessary

• Maintain and clean tools, spray guns, and painting equipment

• Work in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards

• Assist with masking, taping, and staging of parts or equipment

Requirements:

• Previous industrial painting experience required

• Knowledge of different types of paints, coatings, and application methods

• Ability to work with solvents, chemicals, and other hazardous materials

• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to [50] lbs and work in tight or elevated spaces

• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with airless or HVLP spray systems

• Familiarity with sandblasting or surface preparation tools

• Forklift or scissor lift certification a plus
