Medical Receptionist

Position Overview

Express Employment Professionals are seeking a dependable and professional Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role is ideal for someone with prior medical experience who enjoys working with patients, managing multiple responsibilities, and providing excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time (Guaranteed 40 hours per week with rotating Saturdays)

Key Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming phone calls professionally
• Schedule and manage patient appointments
• Utilize computer software and electronic medical records (EMR preferred; training provided if needed)
• Greet and assist patients with a friendly, courteous attitude
• Verify and input patient information accurately
• Maintain attention to detail while multitasking daily responsibilities
• Support clinic operations across multiple locations as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous medical office or healthcare background required
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
• Willingness to commute to three clinic locations around the OKC area
• Ability to wear scrubs while on duty

Preferred (Not Required)

• Insurance verification or medical billing experience
• Prior experience using EMR systems

Schedule Details

• Typical shift: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Latest shift: Up to 7:30 PM as needed
• Saturdays: Rotating, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• Sundays: Closed (No Sunday work)
