Location: Fort Myers, FL
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Pay: $16.00 – $17.00 per hour

Position Summary

A busy medical office in Fort Myers is seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient service by answering incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and assisting patients with general inquiries. The ideal candidate will have previous call center, customer service, or related experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of incoming phone calls professionally and courteously.

• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.

• Assist patients with general questions and direct calls to the appropriate department.

• Accurately document patient information and appointment details.

• Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

• Provide outstanding customer service while ensuring a positive patient experience.

• Work collaboratively with providers and office staff to support daily operations.

• Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous call center, customer service, or equivalent experience is required.

• Excellent verbal communication and telephone etiquette.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic computer skills with the ability to learn medical scheduling software.

• Medical office experience is a plus but not required.
