Tax Preparer

Located in Sherman, TX

Salary: $16/hr

Express Employment Professionals is seeking applicants for an Tax Preparer position for a Denison TX company! We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in the Texoma area that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role you will:

• Prepare and file individual and small business tax returns

• Review financial records, such as income statements and documentation of expenditures

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations

• Provide guidance and support to clients on tax-related matters

• Utilize QuickBooks and tax preparation software efficiently

• Handle sensitive and confidential client information with professionalism

Requirements:

• Must have previous tax preparation experience (2+ seasons preferred)

• Proficiency with QuickBooks

• Ability to begin work immediately with minimal training

• Strong understanding of current tax laws and filing procedures

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Open to seasonal or temporary employment

• PTIN preferred; CPA or EA a plus but not required
